Adagio Travel had the worst case scenario happen to their website. They had another company hosting their site on an unsecured server that was not being backed up properly. The site got a virus and crashed everything – it was totally wiped out and unrecoverable.  With years of posts and trip information lost we were tasked with building a new site with whatever information we could salvage. Not being able to use existing code forced us to recreate and rewrite all of the posts with information we recovered from internet archives of the old site. It has been a slow process, but we have been able to recover about 75% of their content. The lesson for everyone is to make sure they are using reputable agencies to host, manage and maintain their websites.
